Here are some pictures from December and New Years.
We went to the Christmas tree farm to cut our tree. We would have preferred to go and spend a few hours because there's a nice walk and the scenery is pretty. However, Tory was whining most of the time and wanted to be carried around so we didn't stay long. She enjoyed maybe the first five minutes of the walk and then wanted no part of looking for trees. We ended up shutting her up with lollipops so we could find a tree. She did like the campfire though.
The following week we went to the mall with Grandma and Grandpa to meet Santa. She didn't like him too much either. Surprisingly, she fully understood the whole idea of Santa and presents. So bribing her to behave worked pretty well. We only had to phone Santa a few times.
We did Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house and Christmas Day at home. Then we celebrated Daddy's Birthday before heading to North Carolina for a few days.
We came home in time to spend New Years Eve at the Kayo's. We spent the night at their house and Tory was so wound up with excitement playing with Sam, Casey, and the other kids that she was still dancing at 3:30 am when everyone was going to sleep.
