the ToRy PaiGe: Halloween,Vacation and Thanksgiving

Here are some pictures from Halloween and our vacation.

Tory thought Halloween was pretty cool. It was actually pretty lame this year because we had a snowstorm right before. People stayed inside because of downed power lines and branches falling all over. The Halloween parade was cancelled too so we went to downtown Westfield instead. They had their stores open for trick or treating on Sunday so we went for an hour. Then on Monday went around the neighborhood and downtown Cranford for a little while. She caught on quick and was really into it. At first she was going up to everyone on the street and saying "trick or treat" holding out her pumpkin.

The week after Halloween we went to the Dominican Republic with two other couples and their girls Sam and Casey who are both 9. Club Med was good for us. We were able to have some family vacation time and some adult fun too. We did some snorkeling, trapeze lessons, fishing, kayaking, spa treatments, beach volleyball, fitness classes and golf. We were able to drop Tory off for kids club when we needed to. There was a full schedule of kids activities. They offer the kids clubs for a full day, half day, and/or nighttime -until 1am.

At the end of the week the kids performed a dance routine for the parents. Tory partially participated in it We were told she objected to the costume and refused to come out. She did decide to come out for the last routine (with her blankie) She's really into dancing. She loved going to the disco too and one night danced her butt off until 1am...followed by a skinny dip in the pool......such the party girl. She kept up with Sam and Casey and they loved having her around -which was really nice.

It would be awesome if we could go again next year.
