3rd Birthday, Halloween and Thanksgiving 2012

Finally....Here are the long awaited Birthday pictures.
Since Tory's birthday fell on a Monday we had her party the Saturday before and just had Grandparents and big sister (who had to work on the day of the party)  for cupcakes on her actual birthday. Tory specifically asked for a pink and purple princess party, so we  went light on the princess theme and added some frogs here and there to include the boys.

She absolutely loved her cake. She kept trying to get her hands on it before the guests arrived.

Tory got her first real haircut finally. Its getting really long and the sides are starting to grow out so gladly it's looking less like a weird baby mullet. She actually allows me to style it everyday. However, that's where all cooperation ends. She loves to battle over EVERYTHING! She has to have the last word and always be right!
Really? Already? such a Diva!

We had some great fall weather and were able to take some really cute pictures at the pumpkin farm. Unfortunately the hurricane before Halloween postponed trick or treating for all the kids here in NJ. It ended up to be a bit lame. I'm so glad I didn't stress myself out trying to make this elaborate purple monster costume (per the Diva's request) because come time for trick or treating  -she didn't even want to go. We had a nice time though. The Grandma and Grandpa and the twins came over and we went out for about 20 minutes. Then we spent a good while trying to get the three kids to sit together and cooperate for a picture.

Thanksgiving was small too this year but very nice.

Summer 2012

We had a busy Summer! The highlights were a trip to Sesame Place, the beach, the boardwalk,  Grandma's pool and a visit from Uncle Pete and Aunt Lindsey.

Tory has learned and changed so much!. She continues a major obsession with Ballet and all things purple. She has recently discovered Barbie makeover video games and cutting with scissors. She is still into music and loves to sing and play "concert"

Tory was potty trained in July and learned to climb out of her crib just last week. Time for a big-girl bed...(It's about time she's almost 3!) The difference so far is -instead of being awakened by loud singing "MOMMY COME GET ME!!!!"I get  breathing in my face and my eyelids peeled open. Yesterday it was a very loud drum solo.

Tory learned to ride a tricycle this summer,  roller skate and play T-ball. She tries to jump rope too but hasn't quite mastered that yet . You'll notice she is much more camera friendly these days!...hope that continues.
