April May June

Finally an update!
Most of the pics in this post are from the Spring since our last update was in March. We have been busy keeping Tory entertained with outings and she has been busy entertaining us. She is constantly making us laugh and always saying something new.  Some of her favorite statements are "I a big girl"..."sit right there"...."stop it Pee-Pa!" (grandpa)..."Excuse Me!"......."I poo-poo in the potty".......yes she wants the world to know that she uses the potty. She announces it to random strangers everywhere we go. She doesn't even go on it that often yet, she just loves to talk about it.

Drawing is one of her new discoveries since the last post and it is one of her favorite things to do. She asks you to draw something about a hundred times and then she tries to draw it herself. She was working on drawing a balloon for the longest time and finally learned the circle and the line. She was so proud of herself. Now she is working on mastering a smiley face. She starts out patiently drawing the circle and the eyes then can't resist the urge to scribble like crazy.  She prefers to use pencils and pens rather than crayons for some reason. She isn't really a fan of coloring yet.

Cooking is another thing she is into now. She wants to help in the kitchen. We got her some pots and pretend food. She likes to stir things and say "I cooking Mommy"

She still loves to read stories. She finds a few she likes and makes you read them five thousand times and then gets sick of them and doesn't want to read them anymore. Her baby books are long over with. Right now her favorites are "Waiting for Mama" by Beatrice de Regniers, and "Are You My Mother" by P.D. Eastman. Every morning when she gets up, she likes to sit and flip through her books. She empties her entire bookshelf and sits on the floor with them all spread around her.

Yay!!!! Tory is finally growing hair. We thought she would be bald forever! You will notice a difference below, between the first and last photos.

We finally gave up our baby bottles in May. Mommy tried a few times unsuccessfully, but Tory gave it up on her own the day after her last molar came in. Unfortunately, she is now more attached to the binky, which is usually only for sleeping.

There are few pictures from Easter here, but none of our nice dinner. We have been so bad with taking holiday photos because we are so busy hosting guests that we forget to take pictures. We had a nice Easter. A small group this year because we had a dinner party with the cousins and Sue and Jim the week before when Mark's girlfriend was visiting. So on Easter we had Great Grandma Ines and Grandma Joan and Stan.

We have tons more pics since we started compiling for this post, so the next one will hopefully be in two weeks.....
